​The Pre-School operates during term times only in line with Dorset LEA and Stalbridge Primary School dates. We are usually open when the school is closed for inset days.
Stalbridge Pre-school is open Monday – Friday from 8.45am to 3.00pm

Fees and Funding

​Stalbridge Pre-School Fees are as follows:
3 & 4 Yr olds:
£6.00 per hour for non-funded children or children funded attending more than 15 hours per week

2 Yr olds: 
£7.70 per hour  for  a minimum 2 sessions per week (your child may be eligible for 2yr funding - please use the 2yr funding check below)

Fee charges are subject to annual review and possible increase.

Children are currently entitled to claim universal Early Education Funding from the term following their 3rd Birthday for up to 15 hrs per wk (or more if eligible) term time only. Any hours over the 15 hrs are charged at the same hourly rate as non-funded children. We also offer extended  30 hour funding if your child is eligible and 2 year old funding (working parent/disadvantaged), from the term following a child's 2nd Birthday.

Childcare funding is intended to cover the cost of offering quality education and care, it is not intended to cover the costs of extras provided such as snacks, hygiene products, online learning journals, seasonal activities and trips therefore we currently request 50p an hour ‘fairer funding contribution’ to cover consumable costs for  all children using 2, 3 and 4 year funded hours
​(current exemptions are EYPP + Disadvantaged 2 year olds).
